Take the First Step!
Back in December, I set a very important goal for me... To write every day....
I set this goal because I knew I had to make a big change. I used to tell myself how much work- writing was.... That writing was boring... and that writing took too long and I had other things to do...
What really happened was that I was listening to my fear and ego talk nonsense and I let them convince me that writing really was not worth my time.
In previous years I would start a blog and a few weeks into it, I'd got bored and discouraged and then I just let it go.... Self sabotage would kick in and I'd beat up on myself for not being able to keep my goal. I knew I was not alone, but I felt alone. ''
After many years of doing and not seeing the results I wanted, This year, I decided to Take the First Step into Trusting my DREAMS! Why did I want to write? Why was it important to me? I learned to look at it like my daily Journal book. I also really loved the fact that I was setting a big example for my kids.
I made a healthy plan to write 5 minutes of my life thoughts, plans and ideas. I made it feel easy and fun by convincing myself I was just writing a simple journal entry, I made pretty graphics and recipes and made it interesting. I created this blog, The Good Morning Life.
Today I'm celebrating 50 days of writing! And that feels amazing! I picture in my head "Day 252" and that really excites me...and keeps me motivated to keep writing.
Where is this going? to open doors of opportunities! I just wanted this year 2021 to be extra special. I want to feel like I'm achieving my dreams of writing for one complete year and I know I will achieve it.
So, you see...You have to take the First Step towards facing your Fears, bypassing the lies you tell yourself and become deaf to the naysayers... Just focus on the project you want to get done, DECIDE TO DO IT and TAKE THAT FIRST STEP!
It will be challenging. It will test you. Some days will be easier, but stick it through! You can do this!!! I believe in You!

The first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: Decide what you want.
Today Recipe is
Andes Chocolate Mint Yummilicious Smoothie
makes 1 serving
16 Andes candy
1 frozen banana
1 tsp chia seeds
1/2 c Vanilla Greek yogurt
1/4 c Almond milk
Mix all ingredients in high speed blender
until blended. Mixture will be thick. Scoop into your favorite cup. Add a Straw and serve!
